The role

We are currently looking for an experienced Demand Manager to join our growing Commercial team.
 
You will take ownership of the demand planning process in all business units (fenestration, trade extrusion and compound), to enable effective projections (volume, value, margin) over a 24 month horizon.

You will also be responsible for coordinating stakeholder demand reviews, alongside managing assumptions, vulnerabilities and opportunities.
 

What you'll do

  • Develop commercial business plan using the volume, value and margin model.
  • Develop and improve the process to gather, quantify and manage assumptions in the demand plan.
  • Liaise with product and supply chain teams on Integrated Business Planning
  • Monitor actual performance to plan, and communicate and/or intervene as appropriate
  • Effectively communicate and engage with customers on operational issues
  • Coach Commercial team on demand planning and questioning techniques to improve demand plan accuracy

What you'll need

  • A minimum of 2 years demand planning experience in a B2B environment (essential)
  • Advanced Excel skills (essential)
  • Experience in Baseline Forecasting (essential)
  • Manufacturing sector experience (desirable)
  • Experience of SAP Demand Management (desirable)
  • Oliver Wight Class A Demand Planning Process (desirable)
