The role
What you'll do
- Develop and lead the company’s planning strategy to support operational and business objectives.
- Oversee production scheduling, demand forecasting, and capacity planning to drive OTIF and efficiency.
- Lead and develop a team of planners, while collaborating closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance.
- Leverage tools like SAP and QS to deliver data-led decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure the planning function remains agile and resilient.
What you'll need
- Proven experience in production planning or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP, QS, and demand forecasting systems.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on problem-solving ability and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Confident communicator and collaborator, capable of influencing across functions and at senior levels.
- A customer-focused and commercially aware approach to planning.
