Maintenance Engineer
- Annual salary: 34,000 - 36,000 GBP
The role
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our established maintenance team.
You will be responsible for maintenance activities on production equipment, covering breakdowns, identification of breakdown root cause and corrective action.
The ideal applicant will be multi-skilled with a 60/40 bias of Electrical skill over Mechanical.

What you'll do
- React to breakdowns (both mechanical and electrical) - fault identification, analysis and fix
- Keep accurate records of work activities, including parts used through stores etc.
- Work with other departments to increase machine reliability and equipment performance
- Be involved in installation and decommissioning engineering projects
What you'll need
- A formal Electrical or Mechanical engineering qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC or equivalent)
- Strong electrical experience
- Experience of working with controls, fault analysis and solution provision
- Experience of both reactive and preventative maintenance
- Good technical understanding of automation hardware and software
- Organisation and communication skills
