The role
What you'll do
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to sales management and the field-based sales team.
- Manage the new business prospect pipeline, ensuring full visibility of all sales opportunities and implementing a monthly reporting mechanism for live prospects.
- Coordinate new business onboarding, ensuring a structured and consistent approach across the team.
- Proactively maintain and enhance CRM masterdata, ensuring data accuracy and maximising its value in strategic decision-making.
- Oversee cost management in customer support and company expenditure, contributing to cost reduction initiatives.
- Coordinate customer tooling and software (outsourced and in-house), ensuring all projects align with agreed budgets, deadlines, and commitments.
- Develop and manage a robust reporting mechanism for customer tooling and software.
- Drive sales process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Produce accurate monthly management reports to support sales operations.
- Provide customer service support as required.
- Take ownership of Sales Meeting agendas, ensuring accountability across the Commercial Team.
- Organise monthly meetings with BDMs, providing resource support for annual objectives.
- Maximise customer engagement, including ensuring top customer attendance at corporate events.
- Manage customer anniversary recognition, ensuring key milestones are acknowledged.
- Coordinate customer visits to VEKA, delivering an experience aligned with brand expectations.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to ensure the sales team is fully equipped for product launches.
- Maintain and manage corner samples, sample windows, and sample boxes to support sales activities.
- Own and maintain SharePoint usage across the Sales Team, ensuring compliance and quality.
What you'll need
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A resilient and proactive approach, with excellent decision-making skills.
- Experience in sales administration, CRM management, or sales coordination (preferably within manufacturing or a B2B sales environment).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and confident approach.
- High attention to detail and numerical accuracy in reporting and data management.
- Proficiency in SAP, SAP CRM, and Microsoft Office packages.
- A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to introduce and embrace new ways of working.
- Strong team player, contributing positively to team dynamics and overall success.
